Second International School on NanoAlloys (ISNA-2) – Pisa 20-25/01/2020
The “Second International School on NanoAlloys (ISNA-2)” will be held in Pisa from 20th to 25th January 2020.
ISNA-2 is organized within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Action – International Training Network (MSCA-ITN) “Bimetallic catalyst knowledge-based development for energy applications (BIKE)” Grant Agreement 813748, and will focus on the structure and properties of NanoAlloy materials, with specific attention to their use in catalytic applications. ISNA-2 is a follow-up of the First International Training School on NanoAlloys (ISNA) School held in 2012 in Pisa, within the COST Action on “Nanoalloys” and will be held in collaboration with the French International Research Network (IRN) on Nanoalloys: “Nanoalloy properties and their relationship with structure and environment”.
The perspective audience of the School are Early Stage Researchers and post-docs, and its targets are: (i) to contribute preparing a new generation of young researchers knowledgeable of the theoretical and experimental advances of the field; (ii) to update previously developed educational tools with latest progress, in particular in the fields of predictive theoretical modelling of nano-alloys under realistic conditions, in-situ and operando characterization, advanced preparation methods, and industrial applications.
Registration: BIKE ESR participants are supported by the BIKE project. Participants external to BIKE are welcome (no financial support is available). No inscription fee is required, however external participants are required to pay for coffee-breaks (5€ each) and lunches (12€ each) for each day of attendance.
ALL participants should register via the link https://forms.gle/qDUJJkJViXazu1k69 WITHIN 15th December 2019. External participants will receive a confirmation email that their registration has been accepted within few days. For more information, you can send an e-mail to email@example.com.
