IUPAC GWB 2024
The 2024 edition of the IUPAC Global Women Breakfast is approaching. The GWB is a global initiative for creating a moment of discussion and global network of people to overcome gender barriers in science (Sustainable Development Goal 5).
After the success of the 2022 edition, the renewed Italian CNR Commission for IUPAC (NAO-CNR, www.iupac.cnr.it), which represents Italy in IUPAC, organizes an online breakfast on February 27th at 10 am to talk about “Women and peace”, with particular reference to chemistry, with an exceptional guest, Dr. Syeda Sultana Razia, Professor at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, awarded the 2023 OPCW -The Hague Award for her international commitment to the prohibition of chemical weapons.
