This paper is dedicated to Doriana

Doriana, who passed away in June 2022, earned her master’s degree in Chemistry in 2020. Her thesis, completed at ICCOM in Pisa, focused on the preparation and characterization of phosphorene-containing polymer nanocomposites for electronic applications. Afterward, she continued her research with a grant at ICCOM, focused on the functionalization of phosphorene with phthalocyanines. The paper dedicated to her, in which she is the first author, is based on the latest experimental data she obtained with us.
