Education: Doctor in Chemistry (110/110 magna cum laude), University of Florence, June 1979.

Work Experience: University of Florence, Department of Chemistry Assistant (1979-1981), Research Assistant (1981-1986); CNR Researcher (1986-1996), CNR Senior Researcher (1996-2001), CNR Research Director (2001-2020); ICCOM Deputy Director (2011-2013); ICCOM Director (2013-2017); DSCTM-CNR Director (2017-2020).
