Comics&Science is a series of CNR Edizioni (Communication and Public Relations Unit), editorial label of the CNR-National Research Council and was born in 2012 as a section of the cultural programming of the Lucca Comics & Games festival. The series is directed by Andrea Plazzi and Roberto Natalini. The goal is to promote the relationship between Science and Entertainment, in the belief that both are important training moments for the growth of the individual and the citizen. ICCOM contributed in 2019 to the volume “The Periodic Issue”. The history of the academy of Professor M and his extraordinary and elementary students born thanks to the pen of Giovanni Eccher and the pencil of Sergio Ponchione after a visit to the Sesto Fiorentino headquarters.
