Global Women’s Breakfast 16/02/2022
The Global Women Breakfast (GWB) is a successful yearly IUPAC initiative, held in conjunction with the U.N. Day of Women and Girls in Science, aimed at establishing an active network of both women and men to overcome the barriers to gender equality in science. Women and men from all types of science organizations come together to share breakfast.
NAO-CNR (ww.iupac.cnr.it) organizes the GWB22 as an online event on February 16, 2022 from 9:30 to 12:30 (CET). The event will be an important international opportunity for exchange and discussion on the theme of cultural and gender integration in chemical research. We will talk with the President of the CNR Prof. Maria Chiara Carrozza, with our DSCTM-CNR Director Prof. Lidia Armelao and with the President of the NAO-CNR Dr. Maurizio Peruzzini. We will discuss with highly experienced international chemists and chemists with prominent roles in IUPAC, ISC and OPCW. We will also listen to the stories of Italian and foreign researchers who have worked or still work in chemical research in Italy.
