Dear Colleagues,

we are pleased to announce that the 7th Italian Conference on Magnetism - MAGNET 2021 will be held in Florence, on February 10th-12th 2021, at the Polo Giuridico, Università di Firenze, Firenze, Italy.  The event is organized by Researchers from ICCOM CNR and the University of Florence. The Conference, promoted by AIMagn, is aimed at presenting and discussing recent achievements in fundamental magnetism and its applications, bringing together researchers from public and private research sectors working in the field of magnetism.

Dear Colleagues,

we are pleased to announce that the Congress PBSi 2019, Phosphorus, Boron and Silicon will be held from 2 to 4 December 2019 in Rome, at the Convention Center of Piazza di Spagna. The event is organized by ICCOM CNR Researchers of Florence and Pisa. After the editions of Paris (2017) and Barcelona (2018), this congress represents a scientific event of great importance in the fields of inorganic and organic chemistry. The topics addressed cover many areas: from the development of new materials based on phosphorus, boron or silicon for applications in the energy sector, to the use in the biomedical field and to the preparation of new catalysts for the synthesis of fine chemical products by processes low environmental impact.

You can download the Congress poster here.

Dear Colleagues,

we are pleased to announce that the 11th Conference on Fast Field-Cycling NMR Relaxometry will be held at the Conference Center “Le Benedettine” of the University of Pisa from Wednesday the 5th to Friday the 7th of June, 2019. The conference is organized by researchers of ICCOM-Pisa and of the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry of Pisa University.

This is the biennial Field-Cycling NMR conference, held the first time in Berlin (1998) and then every two years in Torino until 2013, then in Aberdeen in 2015, and in Mikolajki in 2017. The conference covers theoretical and experimental aspects of Fast Field-Cycling NMR relaxometry and imaging, including theory, data analysis, hardware, and techniques, as well as applications to problems in chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, materials science, environmental science, and food science.

Information on the 11th FFC-NMR conference is available at the website

We look forward to meeting you in Pisa in June!

Dear Colleagues,

the 17th Conference on Chiroptical Spectroscopy-CD 2019 will be held in Pisa on June 23-27, 2019.

Please find below some important announcements about the conference. The registration for the conference is open. Please visit this page and follow the link to the registration form. The call for abstracts will be open soon.

Invited speakers: many distinguished colleagues already accepted our invitation to deliver Plenary Lectures and Invited Talks. Please have a look at the full list of plenary and invited speakers.

Accommodation: we arranged preferential rates for attendees and speakers of CD2019 in a few hotels located in the city center. Please visit our accommodation page for the hotels' list and other useful information. June is normally a very crowded period in Pisa, because of “Giugno Pisano” (June in Pisa), a unique yearly historical celebration which attracts many tourists. We therefore recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible. Please notice that we do not offer hotel reservation service.

For other information, please visit the conference website at the URL and follow us on Twitter. Please, do circulate this message and invite your colleagues and collaborators to visit our webpage and register. We look forward to seeing you in Pisa next summer.

Best regards,

The XIII Conference of the Interdivisional Group of Organometallic Chemistry of The Italian Chemical Society (Co.G.I.C.O. 2018) organized by ICCOM-CNR, will be held in Florence from 18th to 20th July 2018 at the Exhibition Center (Sala Adua 1), which is located in the city center, not far from the Central Train Station of Santa Maria Novella.

This year the conference, which is organized every two years by the Interdivisional Group G.I.C.O., reaches its thirteen edition and continues to represent a meeting point for the Italian researchers involved in Organometallic Chemistry and its potential applications, ranging from Homogeneous Catalysis to Sustainable Chemistry, Material Sciences, Nanotechnologies, Chemistry for Energy, Bio-organometallic Chemistry Material Sciences.

In recent years the scientific interest of both organic and inorganic chemists for Organometallic Chemistry has steadily grown, as proved by the large participation of researchers of both divisions that are working in this area, making this interdisciplinary group one of the largest in the Italian Chemical Society.

This year the Co.G.I.C.O. will take advantage of a unique opportunity: the conference will be organized in the framework of an event of great international relevance, the ICOMC 2018 Conference (, that will be held in Florence from 15th to 20th July 2018. Participants registered to Co.G.I.C.O. will thus be granted admission to all the simultaneous sessions of ICOMC 2018, which will host our Conference in one dedicated session. At the same time participants registered to ICOMC 2018 will be able to participate to Co.G.I.C.O. sessions (consisting of oral presentations and posters in addition to 3 Plenary, 2 Keynote and 4 Invited Lectures). In this way, we will have the possibility to widen to an international community not only the diffusion of results but also the exchange of ideas and expertise.
