From February 3 to 6, 2026, the School of Solid-State NMR Spectroscopy will be held in Pisa, at the Department of Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry. Organized by GIDRM (Italian Magnetic Resonance Discussion Group) in collaboration with ICCOM-CNR, the University of Pisa, and the University of Turin, the school will offer a four-day program to participants from various backgrounds, who require only minimal basic knowledge of NMR spectroscopy, the main theoretical, practical, and applied elements of solid-state NMR spectroscopy, one of the most powerful and versatile techniques currently available for studying solid materials and systems. Thanks to the instrumentation available at the school, participants will be able to explore the practical aspects of this spectroscopic technique in person. Expert instructors will illustrate the numerous applications of this technique for characterizing the structural and dynamic properties, at the molecular level, of various solid systems, such as drugs, polymers, inorganic and organic-inorganic hybrid materials, biomacromolecules, and porous materials. All information, the detailed program, and the registration form are available on the GIDRM website, www.gidrm.org

Registration is open until January 21st.
