CNR-ICCOM Confirms Its Position of Excellence in the VQR 2020–2024 National Evaluation
According to the results published by ANVUR following the conclusion of the 2020–2024 Research Quality Assessment (VQR), as in the previous 2014-2019 edition CNR-ICCOM demonstrates performance above the average in the disciplinary areas in which it is most strongly represented.
In Area 3 (Chemical Sciences), ICCOM achieved I = 0.75 and R1_2 = 1.09, ranking 2nd among all the 22 Public Research Institutions. The distribution of the 167 submitted research products across merit classes was as follows:
• A (Outstanding) = 21.56%
• B (Excellent) = 49.70%
• C (Standard) = 26.95%
• D (Adequate) = 1.80%
• E (Unsatisfactory) = 0.00%
The R1_2 value indicates an average scientific output quality approximately 9% higher than the area benchmark (GEV03).
ICCOM stands out for its high proportion of products in classes A and B, the absence of products in class E, and its leading position among Italian Public Research Organizations in the evaluated disciplinary area.
