Research project at Jerusalem

Available Position for Experienced Researcher:

On–line combined electrochemistry-mass spectrometry for the investigation of the mechanism of electrocatalyzed reactions

In this program, the group will mainly develop the following project:

Investigations of the speciation and transformations of high-valent organometallic compounds [eg. CpReO3, (CH3)ReO3, (CH3)3ReO2, (CH3)4OsO, Cp2M2O5 (M = Mo, W)] and new related derivatives in water. We shall conduct speciation studies as a function of pH, ligands, and applied potential by Electrospray mass spectrometry.  New generations of coupling interfaces with (and without) optical and chromatographic methods will be developed.
